May is always one of my favorite months. My husband’s birthday, my birthday and this year we celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary in May too! This year – surprisingly, May was wedding free for me but full of many other shoots and personal projects and shoots for East vs West!
The month began with a newborn shoot of this wonderful joyful little guy of a friend who is near and dear to me!
Graduations were abound in May and this lovely lady was graduating from highschool!
And nurses were graduating too!
I headed to edmonton for an Engagement Shoot (sorry guys – this one is being kept private) with an amazing bride and groom who were getting married later in the year. We took advantage of the amazing low sun in the gardens of the Muttart Conservatory and got to know each other! (love this couple!!)
While in Edmonton, I had 2 of my East vs West shoots to do with my amazing talented team consisting of MUA Charity Hudak with Pretty Little Devil Makeup Artistry, Colleen Bromby from The Hair Junkie and models Nica Stone and Courtney Owen. With the help of my friend Lani Van Rooyen from ROOY Couture for costuming and my friend Lana for use of her amazing Refresh Organic & Wellness Spa, we went to work with both shoots! Here are the resulting two photos used in the competition!
