June started out with a BANG! This couple got married in their home town of Fahler – home of the giant bumble bee! And what a beautiful wedding it was – small and romantic – this family was tight knit and everyone helped out in this wedding – I felt so welcomed and so enjoyed spending the day with all of these people!
Since summer was upon us, so many people took advantage of summer photos outside in the warm June sun!
Love was also in the air and a few engagement sessions took place in the nice evening sun!
And speaking of love…. I was so excited when this next couple entrusted me enough to do their wedding photography, as it was none other than photographer Lukasz Herba . I consider him not only a talented local event photographer, but him and his wife have also become dear friends to us and it was an honor to document their wedding and have a day full of fun and laughs with these two as they do nothing NORMALLY
and everything EXCITINGLY!
The month also involved some baby bumps (taking advantage of the outdoors!) This baby bump belongs to the awesome photographer Michelle Hartsburg who is now located out of Okotoks, Alberta!
The month is barely over and yet another wedding to share with you guys! Sadly…most of the end of June consisted of rain rain rain EVERY Weekend! It seemed you had to get married on a weekday to enjoy any of our sun! This entire wedding it poured rain, but the bridal party and the bride and groom were troopers and armed with canopy trees and umbrella’s we managed to get some fantastic photos despite the weather!
This month also began our shooting for the local Grande Prairie & District SPCA Shelter Bombshell Calendar! Oer first shoot took place out at the airport, using a local client’s small airplane as the backdrop!
And there is so much more I could post such as my brother’s visit to Edmonton, my daughter’s basketball tournament, another newborn session…..but Ill save it and get ready for the next huge post when I share my crazy busy July with you!!!
