Grande Prairie had the honour of hosting the 2010 Arctic Winter Games March 6-13th, 2010. Over 2000 young athletes came to Grande Prairie from as far away as Russia and Yamal to compete in a wide variety of winter sports including the Dene Games! I had the honor as one of the Official Photographers for the games, to volunteer photography and partake and watch several events a day.
